Even if we’re not too excited about the new C-Class Coupe that just came out with a flurry of pictures, we should definitely show some enthusiasm for when the AMG version shows up.
As of right now, we know that the C63 Coupe will be powered by a 4.0 liter turbocharged V8 engine, good for 476 PS in the “entry-level” model, and 510 PS in the ‘S’ version.
Correct, it’s no more than you get in the C63 Sedan, but the Coupe should feel quite a bit more agile, if not particularly quicker in a straight line.
Performance aside, the car should look considerably better than the regular C-Class Coupe and here we have a rendering that’s actually based on the final product.
Notice that it sits closer to the road, it’s got an AMG front spoiler, bigger wheels and brakes, and a more aggressive hood design. The real C63 Coupe should also have wider wheel arches, since it can’t afford to look too elegant while going against rivals such as the M4 Coupe and Audi RS5.
Personally, I can’t wait to see it with a rear wing… so, maybe on a future Black Series version? What do you guys think?
