It’s a shame that the Lamborghini Asterion is not going to happen. It would have been a new kind of take on the hybrid hypercar proposition.
The Asterion would fit nicely in Lambo’s range, being capable of scorching speeds on the autobahn while being much more usable than the rest.
In the looks department, there really was no problem with it – it’s probably better than the taller Urus concept that eventually got the green light. It’s upright, imposing and aggressive, yet sleek and supercar-like too.
Power-wise, it would have been on par with the other hybrid hypercars, rounding out its gasoline plus electric figure at 898 hp or 910 PS.
Since this vehicle will, like the Estoque, end up being forgotten, we thought it would be nice to have it shown in its full glory on a sunny day at the Pebble beach venue, in this video courtesy of BrianZuk.
