A Spanish newspaper claims it has captured a faraway picture of Citroen’s upcoming Cactus M Concept car during a photoshoot on a local beach.
It’s extremely difficult to tell specific details about the car from the low resolution photo – zooming in doesn’t really help – other than that it appears to keep the regular Cactus’ windshield and rear section of the roof behind the C-column.
In a recent teaser, Citroen itself described the Cactus M as “a fresh and invigorating version of the C4 Cactus that revisits the spirit of the legendary Méhari“, which was a 2CV-based model with a canvas roof built between 1968 and 1988, with the French carmaker also offering an all-wheel drive version of the utilitarian car.
We should learn more about the Cactus M and Citroen’s plans for the open-top concept before its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-September.
