A couple of weeks ago it was officially confirmed that Citroen would showcase a new concept based on the successful C4 Cactus at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show.
The French carmaker insisted that it won’t be a concept but “a fresh and invigorating version that revisits the spirit of the legendary Méhari”.
Earlier today it released the first teaser of what the Cactus M, as the model will apparently be named, in its Facebook page. The car is still absent – all we see is one of its workers applying the finishing layers of paint on a grey and blue surf board with a “Cactus M” stylized logo in red.
“The summer holidays may now be drawing to a close, but we’ve been preparing an exciting project…”, reads the caption. Not much to go by, except that it’s obviously going to be a leisure-oriented concept of the C4 Cactus for people that do extreme sports. Well, if the board fits…
