A truck driver forgot to lower his vehicle’s dumping bucket and smashed into an overhead sign on a Saudi Arabian freeway bringing traffic to a halt.
In the video filmed by a motorist who was following the truck – at a safe distance, of course, you can hear vehicles honking their horns to alert the motorist, but he doesn’t seem to take notice.
Then again, neither did the driver of the white pickup that was speeding from behind and who almost crashed into the truck…
Fortunately, no one was injured.
The incident is currently under investigation, but according to the local Transportation minister, “The driver, and the company that owns the vehicle, will be liable for the repair costs; because what happened is a disregard for public property, in accordance to the regulations and procedures.”
