If you’re a fan of the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe, then you probably won’t mind looking at this Cabriolet rendering. The rest of us though, won’t get too excited.
The problem with the US-version (European model is gone anyway) of the Accord is that it’s not exactly what you would call a cool car, whether it’s the Sedan or the Coupe.
This means that a hypothetical convertible version would probably be equally uninspiring. In fact, it would probably be the type of convertible a rental company would give you if you asked for a “fun in the sun” model.
The upside is that you could go for the 3.5 liter V6 model, which comes with 278 HP and 341 Nm (252 lb-ft) of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission (or manual if you prefer).
If you ask me, I think the Sedan is a little bit better looking than the Coupe, so I don’t much like this Cabrio rendering – since it’s obviously based on the Coupe version. I guess the LED headlights look pretty nice. There, something positive!
