After fighting Manny Pacquiao and making roughly $600 million, Floyd Mayweather Jr decided to buy one of the rarest and fastest hypercars in the world.
Before I get to what I really think about this car/post on Floyd Mayweather’s Facebook page, I just have to say that this is one seriously amazing vehicle.
According to Floyd, Koenigsegg made only two CCXR Trevitas and this right here is the only US-spec model – so you could argue that it’s absolutely unique.
It features a unique double carbon rear wing, inconell exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes and of course ABS, airbags, paddle-shifter, an infotainment system, tire monitoring system and a much needed hydraulic lifting system.
Now, the thing is, on Koenigsegg’s web page, they say that they actually made three examples of the Trevita, which makes sense since…the number three is actually embedded into its freaking moniker.
In terms of specs, what can you do except for be amazed? It can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds and it has a top speed of over 410 km/h (254+ mph). Of course, those types of figures don’t come easy, which is why the CCXR Trevita needs 1,018 BHP and 1,080 Nm (796 lb-ft) of muscle.
Anyway, here’s what Floyd said in his post:
“My new 4.8 Million dollar car. $4,800,000.00 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita supercar
KOENIGSEGG Is An ULTRA Boutique Automobile Manufacturer For The Super Rich.
KOENIGSEGG made only 2 TREVITA’S for the World, and this is No.2 of 2. In addition it is the only USA Spec TREVITA Built in the World.
The Origin of the car is Sweden.
The word TREVITA means “3 Whites”. It is beyond a Super Car, and is classified as a Hyper Car.”
Is it me or is this too much of a “hey people, look what I just bought?” type of thing? Do you need to mention that it’s so incredibly exclusive? God forbid somebody would think you paid just a couple of hundred grand or a million instead of $4.8m?
Also, made for the “Super Rich”?
Come on.
