While Forza 6 may not be a graphical revolution compared to the fifth installment in the series, it gets rain, puddles and an extra emphasis on the surface you’re driving on.

Lots of games have realistic, changing weather effects, but between its life-like puddles and the differing grip levels, this could have the edge on realism. Think about it: yes, rain does reduce grip and it produces spray that makes seeing tricky, but puddles are actual road hazards that you have to go around.

In essence, this is like having to navigate around obstacles in arcade-oriented games, the kind that have power ups scattered around the track, so it adds a new level of gameplay. That’s quite rare in the serious car racing genre since there isn’t really that much innovating you can do.
