If you’re eager to check out Forza Motorsport 6, with its improved graphics, weather and puddles, then you won’t have to wait long for the first taste. It’s just been announced that a demo version will be launched September 1.
They didn’t say exactly what you’re going to be allowed to do, but chances are it will be a similar version of the game to the one they showed over at Gamescom. Oh, and if you download the demo, then buy the full game you will be given the new Ford GT in-game for free.
That means you probably have to pay for it otherwise…
Aside from that, the developer announced several new tracks and cars that are set to ship with the full finished game.
The tracks they’ve added over Forza 5 are Monza, COTA, Hockenheim, Sonoma Raceway, Watkins Glen, Daytona Speedway or Brands Hatch. With the old ones, they will total 26 locations and more than 100 different layouts.
New cars were also revealed in the announcement: the AMG GT S, 1979 BMW M1 Procar, Volvo S60 Polestar, Jaguar XKR-S GT, Ferrari California T and a few more racing cars. They didn’t show photos of anything other than the Mercedes, but they did provide a healthy selection of track shots you can see in the gallery below.
