Check out 1,650 HP’s worth of Hennessey-tuned Camaros battle each other in a straight line and try not to drool on your keyboard.
In case you’re having trouble figuring out which is which, the Z/28 is the one with the slightly more aggressive body kit. On top of that, while they’re drag racing, you’ll be able to see the ‘Z/28’ logo on the driver’s seat.
The Z/28 Camaro is over 136 kg (300 lbs) lighter than the ZL1, packing 505 HP and 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque. Hennessey slapped on a supercharger, turned up the boost and out came another 295 HP – thus the HPE800 moniker.
As for the ZL1, well, its rocking a power kit called HPE850 so you can imagine what power output it brings to the table. Bottom line, both cars look unbelievably cool and on top of that, they sound even better than they look!
Check out for yourselves who won this pretty fascinating drag race.
