This rumor comes from R&T and it’s really the only one we’ve heard thus far about a possible Lamborghini hypercar in the works.
We get why they could be tempted to make one, but we don’t think it’s going to happen…
Apparently, the Audi-appointed CEO of Lambo, Stephan Winkelmann, “confirmed that there will be a new supercar from the Italian automaker that will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. It will also be shown today to well off owners and prospective buyers in what we hear is some sort of hologram animation.”
The last part does sound like a very Lambo-like thing to do, so we’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.
On top of this controversial rumor, the same source tells us its unnamed tipsters also informed it about additional variants of the Huracan. We can assume therefor that these will be the roadster and possibly the rear-wheel drive one, although a familiar Superleggera model sounds plausible too.
