Mad Max Fury Road will be a movie we will be talking about and comparing others to for years to come. It was authentic in the way it created and portrayed its action, in an age when CGI is king.
We liked it because of the authenticity behind its action scenes, the superbly created atmosphere, the visuals and the fact that while it took Mad Max in a new and different direction, it didn’t suck (which was always a danger) and in fact added freshness to the movie’s universe.
It’s gained a lot of appreciation, and if you don’t believe us, then check out the parody / tribute video posted below. Yes, it’s very cheesy and made to look deliberately amateurish, but that’s a whole sub-genre in itself and actually means the movie did get people talking. It’s a humorous nod to the movie’s value.
Even so, it’s not a fully independent effort, as it’s sponsored by Hyundai, and the manufacturer sneaks its new Tucson into the video as well. Scroll down and check it out below!
