We can barely contain our patience until this outstanding-looking video-game is released in November 3 and these new teasers aren’t making our life any easier.
Still, they reassert the fact that the upcoming Need For Speed iteration will be what us petrolheads have always wanted from a racing-genre time waster: lots of cars, lots of real-life mods and lots of action-packed awesomeness.
To make it even more mind-blowing, the game will feature real-life, street-culture personalities that made an impact in the tuning-scene and in the motoring world. The first teaser says something about renowned vintage Porsche restorer and modder, Magnus Walker and it features his representative 1972 Porsche 911 STR II. The game will probably put the player against Magnus and that makes for an awesome cameo appearance.
Next on the list is Ken Block and hist monstrous Hoonicorn V8 powered AWD Mustang that is present as well – there’s nothing more dramatic than a Gymkhana re-creation. And no, the awesomeness doesn’t stop here, because – as the teaser shows– the player would have to modify a wide-body RWB 964 for Akira Nakai-San “before he leaves the city”. Yup, for the mastermind behind the Rauh-Welt Begriff movement and the stupendous looking Porsches.
The guy that says “Super moves, killing it” is Risky Devil Richard “Fish” Fisher. He’s part of the Risky Devil Chicago drift crew – a bunch of guys known for being law abiding motorists and for never street racing and drifting cars on public places. Last but not least is Yakuza member Morohoshi-san, known for rebelling against…well, everything and building super-seizure-inducing Lamborghinis.
These are the five icons that will urge the user to play through each of the five modes in the upcoming Need for Speed Game: Speed, Style, Build, Cew and Outlaw. That said, the player can carve a unique journey through the game and, all of the sudden, November feels like a million years away.
Oh, and one more thing. Do you remember the E46 M3 GTR from the original Most Wanted? Well, it’s back…
