Pur Sang is a company based in Argentina which recreates 1920s and 1930s sports and Grand Prix cars.

They’re famous for their Bugatti replicas that have gone on to win high praise from all manner of car people including Jay Leno who tried one out a few years back.

The company is also responsible for this 1930s Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, a car that bore the Scuderia Ferrari coat of arms probably some two decades before Enzo built his first road car.

As we’ve come to expect from the Argentinean outfit, their work really does deserve to be called a recreation, rather than merely a replica. They try to not only make the car look original, but they also create period-like running gear for it.

A Pur Sang is not worth as much as the original, but that only means you can thrash it with less regard for its integrity, as you know the parts used to create it are new and can be recreated if they break.

So, depending on how you look at it, you could say this is better than the original specifically because you can drive it harder, faster and be less worried about crashing.
