Renault has confirmed previous unofficial talks that hinted at a Frankfurt motor show reveal for the all-new Megane. It will be shown alongside a new and important model, the Talisman in sedan and wagon trim.
The Espace and Kadjar will be on display too, but we’ve already seen those in the metal on the street so the novelty has worn off.
The Dacia stand will feature an unusual but much-needed feature: the first ever self-shifting gearbox fitted to a modern Dacia in Europe. It won’t be a full automatic, but rather an automated manual called Easy-R.
Models it will be available on are the Logan, Logan MCV, Sandero and Sandero Stepway. It is a very requested feature, and there’s been demand for it since Dacia started expanding into western Europe, where they are more popular on small cars.
The Duster, the most important and well regarded model in the range, will also show off improved styling and fresh equipment at the auto show too.
