Every possible discussion that uses numbers to summarize Bugatti’s upcoming hypercar is bound to blow your mind away.
So, whichever way you look at it, the Chiron – or whatever it’s going to be called – will be a monster.
We already showcased you Bugatti’s poem-teaser rambling about speed and whatnot; moreover, we know the… French car manufacturer is prepping a special vehicle for the Gran Turismo PS4 game that may or may not sport real-life design cues of the upcoming car.
Truth be told, we know very little about the Veyron’s replacement, what we do know is pure speculation and the waiting is killing us. Still, CAR magazine is reporting that the hyper-machine will debut at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, in March, which kind of makes it worse for impatient people because that’s 7 months from now.
Moreover, the publication continues stating that the car will cost €2.2 million ($2,462,834) or €650,000 ($727,655) more than the last batch of Veyron. And that’s the base model, without any optional extras or limited edition credentials. Still, if that turns out to be true, the car will cost roughly $1 million more than the first Veyron’s tag price.
However, thinking each Veyron reportedly costed Volkswagen €4,617,500 to produce and then got sold for about €2 million (in the later years), makes the Chiron kind of a great deal. Unless they’ve come up with a solution to make the cars cheaper over the years, but we wouldn’t bet on it.
Speculating it will produce 1500 PS (1480 Hp) from an alleged hybrid-powered, quad-electric-turbocharged, 8.0-litre W16 engine, Bugatti’s future supercar will be a hoot. To make matters even more interesting, clients have already placed deposits, as the car will be allegedly produced in only 500 units.
