Yep, this Swiss guy burnt down his Ferrari 458 Italia, allegedly after being advised to do so by a car dealer who said it would be a good way to raise money for the new 488 GTB he wanted. The 20 year-old must have thought it was a brilliant idea and so he went on ahead to torch the 458 he’d received as a gift from his generous father.
Proving intellect and foresight were not two of his strong points, the 20 year-old did the torching in Germany, in a spot covered by security cameras which captured the whole thing – genius!
Now, he is not only completely without any Ferrari, whether it be the “old” 458 or the newer one, plus he also got 22 months probation and a €30,000 fine.
