We often hear that you should always be yourself, whatever that may be, and no matter what the outside world tells you.
Let’s just say that, while we agree with this statement, something tells us that the world might not welcome this creation in the kindest way after its owner fused the face of a Shelby Mustang onto the modified body of a 1997 Volvo S70R.
Funny thing is, the front isn’t actually the most awkward-looking part of the car. That distinction goes to the S70R’s custom tail, with those Mustang-wannabe lights that remind us of oversized bicycle pedal reflectors…
The UK seller of the vehicle states that a lot of money and sweat went into the formation of this one-of-a-kind build on the ebay listing.
“Only one previous owner with some Service history documents by Volvo, previous MOTs and documents to show the work and some of the costs involved in making this car look how it does including bills for over £3000 and £7000 for parts and labour including parts such as a Shelby GT 500 front bumper for £704 , Grills for over £500 , Headlamps , bonnet, boot , side skirts wings …..and the list goes on. The 18″ Wolfrace shadow chrome mantis wheels alone cost £800 as shown in the paperwork. The current owner has spent this and much much more.”
Well, if anything, it would make for a perfect match to that ‘multicultural’ BMW 728i with the Mustang face and GT-R tail.
