If there’s one model I’m anxiously awaiting from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division, it’s the F-Type SVR.
Sure, the Range Rover Sport SVR is a capable performance SUV, but I’ve never been fond of SUVs, particularly of those which claim sports car performance. On the other hand, the Jaguar F-Type Coupe is a true sports car and the SVR version will hopefully unlock its full potential.
The F-Type SVR will be powered by an uprated version of the supercharged 5.0-litre V8, believed to produce somewhere around 600hp.
Naturally, the increase in performance will be reflected in the car’s design, which will include a more aggressive aero kit including huge air intakes at the front, a massive rear diffuser integrating quad exhausts and a fixed rear spoiler.
I’m pretty sure no one will complain if the production model will look exactly like these cool renderings from Virtuel-Car.
