It’s like playing with a few Hot Wheels sets, only much more terrifying.
Almost every kid constructed crude ramps to launch toy cars in the air and create massive “accidents”, right? There was something exciting about seeing cars helplessly jump all over the place while colliding with each other.
Well, there’s nothing funny, exciting or fun about seeing real-life cars colliding at excessive speeds, even if the “stunts” are performed in a closed environment, for testing reasons. That said, this particular video depicts footage of multiple cars smashing into each other at roughly 200 Km/h (124 Mph).
Mind you, the video is terrifying, to say the least, even though we’re talking about cars crashing within a closed testing installation. Still, seeing a 1.4-ton hunk of metal crumple and jumping through the air with effortless ease, while being at the mercy of the law of physics, is spine-chillingly gruesome. In fact, the impact is so strong, it actually moves the concrete barriers.
Makes you think twice about steeping on the gas pedal, doesn’t it?
