After watching this video, one thing will be abundantly clear to everyone, and it has nothing to do with the Bimmer’s Stage 2 Evotech upgrade or the old Audi R8 V10 S-Tronic.
Through an easy process of elimination, I reckon you’ve guess who the real star of this “show” is – the Lamborghini Huracan. The fact that you need something with a better power-to-weight ratio than even an Aventador in order to flat out defeat it, no questions asked, is a testament to just how much of a beast the Huracan is in a straight line (and not just).
In a previous drag race, we saw a different 800 HP BMW M6 (that one had a PP-Performance RS800 tune) take on an insanely powerful E63 AMG as well as this very same Huracan, where we found out that even at that power rating, the M6 was about 1 second slower overall than the Lambo.
In drag racing circles, that’s not something you dismiss, especially after you’ve pumped that much extra muscle into your car – you probably have high expectations as well.
As for the Audi R8 V10 S tronic, it’s got a 550 PS engine, which will get it from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds.
Unfortunately, it’s heavier than the Huracan and has a lower top speed, which means that it’s not in a good position to challenge a car that packs 800 HP.
Even so, you should still see for yourselves how the Huracan handled going up against the tuned M6 and what happened when it was the R8’s turn.
