Besides its regular curriculum, Brabus is cooking something very special for Frankfurt…
As we’ve stated before, the German tuner is in a league of its own when it comes to modifying and restoring cars. The amount of energy, attention to details and work that goes into Brabus-badged automobiles is unique. The tuner is capable of tweaking even the most perfectly-constructed automobile, demonstrating that there’s always room for improvement.
That’s one of the many reasons we’re impatiently waiting to see its latest line-up at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In fact, we know that Brabus will debut the 850 PS Widestar, the 600PS C63 S and, thanks to Shmee150, a Mercedes G500 4×4² as well.
Yes, after passing by 15 Brabus 700 Mercedes AMG 6x6s (that’s 10,350 horses!) , the plethora of modified Mercs, a Maybach Landaulet and two 900 S-Class Maybachs in the video filmed at the Brabus factory, the Youtuber presented a diamond in the rough – or in the working.
Covered by a black cloak, the G500 4×4² monster was being prepared for its imminent unveiling at Frankfurt. Thinking the 6×6 was drastically enhanced to 690 Hp and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque (from 536 Hp and 760 Nm), one can only imagine what the tuner has got installed for the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre, 416 Hp V8 that dwells under the G500 4×4²’s hood.
It will most likely retain the G500 4×4²’s off-road capabilities and the some more, as Brabus always modifies its cars to the next level. You can check the car at 5:11 into the following video.
