That revs to 15,000 rpm and provides plenty of motivation for this very odd of vehicles, one that only Edd China could love (you know, because he has a thing for fast furniture…).
It’s the brainchild of Hannes Roth, the man who attempts the hillclimb you see in the video. Since it’s a DIY job, it looks all good and stable and he’s even able to get some drift action into the video as well.
We wonder if that tub actually provides any safety benefits; we get that it was more of a joke on the creator’s side, but were you to crash in this at some speed, would it actually be of any structural use? It probably has to do with the material it’s made of, which is not specified.
