The C7 Z06 is arguably one of the greatest Corvettes ever made, both from a performance stand point, as well as from a visual one.
Unless you’re still hung up on the original Stingray (C2 & C3), then you’re probably a big fan of this car. The C7 clearly looks like the meanest and most down to business Corvette in history, and to top it off, it’s also a proper supercar.
The one from this photoshoot is wearing Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, which is an absolutely gorgeous premium color, costing you an extra $495 when buying new.
The HRE wheels are custom, obviously, and they’re called the RS100M, covered in Brushed Titanium. Design-wise, they do look a bit more high end than the P101s (also HRE) we saw on this white C7 Stingray last year, which makes them a great choice overall.
Unlike with some European brands, the Americans have always known how to visually separate a top of the line version from the regular one.
Sure, everybody does this, but with muscle cars (American sports cars in general), you really feel like you’re buying something a lot more special when you go all in, like say for a Z06 as opposed to a standard 460 HP Stingray.
Same goes for Camaros, Mustangs and even Challengers – though it’s tough for them to take on the C7 Corvette Z06 in terms of appearance.
