By selling 16,900 vehicles globally last month, Infiniti has officially registered their best ever month of August at a 19% increase over the same month of last year.

Compared to 2014, Infiniti achieved positive growth in all four regions, including the Americas, China, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and A&O (Asia and Oceania). This year alone, they sold over 136,700 vehicles around the world, where China, EMEA and A&O all reached record sales during the first 8 months of 2015.

The Americas remains Infiniti’s biggest sales region, where the brand sold 11,900 vehicles in August, an increase of 16% compared to last year.

The month of August was also particularly spectacular in in China where Infiniti sold 51% more cars than they did during the same period of 2014.

As for the EMEA and A&O regions, we’re looking at increases of 8% and 24% respectively for the first 8 months of the year.

Roland Krueger, President of Infiniti Motor Company is encouraged by the August results and thinks that “Infiniti is keeping up the momentum to establish itself as a global premium automotive brand.”

Krueger added that part of their plan is not just to offer iconic designs, but also “an expanded range of products, and an exhilarating driver experience. At the upcoming Frankfurt International Motor Show, we will introduce our all-new Q30 active compact. The Q30 will offer powerful design, premium materials, latest driver assistance technology as well as the ride and handling characteristics typical for Infiniti.”

The Q30 (pictured below) should definitely boost their sales even further, though it won’t have an easy time in such a difficult segment.
