Fiat is spicing up the 500L range in Italy with a new Urban Edition model which brings both styling and equipment upgrades.
Available to order from €20,050 for the base petrol-powered model, the Fiat 500L Urban Edition sports a lively exterior, offering a choice of two two-tone liveries: Cinema Black/Grey and White Fashion Ice Cream/Red Passion.
The former variant gets yellow mirror caps and wheel hubcaps, while the latter gets the same elements in red. In addition, the 500L Urban Edition features chrome side moldings and 16-inch diamond black alloys (17-inch as optional).
Inside, the special edition 500Ls get a two-tone treatment for the dashboard that echoes the body’s livery, as well as yellow or red inserts in the seats and yellow/red stitching for the leather steering wheel, the gear lever knob and floor mats.
In terms of equipment, the Fiat 500L Urban Edition gets a standard Uconnect 5-inch infotainment system, manual air conditioning, fog lights with cornering function, cloth seats Natte/faux leather, cruise control, power rear windows, driver and passenger seat with electric lumbar adjustment, front armrest and leather steering wheel with controls.
Customers can choose between two petrol engines, two diesel and a dual-fuel unit. The petrol units include a 95PS 1.4-liter and a 120PS 1.4 T-Jet, while the diesels are a 95PS 1.3 MultiJet and 120PS 1.6 MultiJet. The dual-fuel engine is the 80PS 0.9 Twin Air Natural Power which can run both on LPG and petrol.
