Kahn’s Chelsea Truck Company has announced an upcoming styling package for the CJ300, but we’ll have to settle for this “Firecraker” Wrangler until the new model will make its official debut.

The firm, known for its wide-track Defenders, tried to polish the Wrangler before, making it seem less rugged and more reminiscent of a modern “sport utility vehicle”. Of course, it’s hard to complete hide the Wrangler’s adventurous nature, but that wasn’t Kahn’s intention to begin with. Instead, the tuner combined the brute with some “Chelsea posh”, transforming it in a rather cool piece of kit.

And now CTC is back with fresh expertise, infusing once again the Wrangler with some style. Mind you, Jeep’s trail-going superstar wasn’t a pair of sandals with socks to begin with, but some added flair doesn’t hurt anyone. Compared to their previous styling exercise, the new model comes in a fiery red guise – Fireckarker red – complemented by satin black accents and wheels.

Between the front bumper and the side wings, CTC installed a set of daytime running lights to make it more in tune with the times, while a pair of mud flaps and an optional quad cross-hair exhaust system completes the rear of the car.

But the real magic is behind the tinted windows, where the front and rear GTB seats, center console, center glove box and arm rests have all been lather-enhanced with quilted and perforated hide.

As usual, Project Kahn and Chelsea Truck Company is always willing to sell you their products and this particular automobile comes in at £31,875 ($49,163). A fair price for a 2.8-litre 197 Hp diesel Jeep, bedizen with Kahn’s accessories and a custom interior, don’t you think?
