The Land Rover Discovery is, until it’s retired and replaced by the all-new model, a rather unique proposition in the seven-seater SUV sector. It’s not only got the roomiest third row, which can comfortably accommodate two adults, but it’s also supremely capable off-road.
It’s on-road where the Discovery is not perfect, and it’s on tarmac where newer rivals outgun it. Pick either of the two cars pitted against the Discovery in this video review by CarBuyer, and the much more car-like driving experience will be obvious along with the more pronounced sense of modernity – you’ll see how much interior design has progressed in the last decade.
The competitors, the current Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 are both really new on the market and they do make the Discovery look like a bit of a dinosaur.
However, until the replacement Disco debuts, it’s still the best choice when space and off-road capability are at the top of your priorities list. Scroll down and check out the review below!
