McLaren Automotive is returning to Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille with bespoke 570S Coupe by MSO as well as the iconic McLaren F1 GTR.
The second edition of this glamorous event will take place this weekend (6-7 September) at Domaine Chantilly, north of Paris, where people will be able to admire the very same 570S Coupe by MSO (McLaren Special Operations) that made its debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The car features a new Ceramic Grey paintwork and a variety of carbon fiber exterior options, emphasizing the lightweight philosophy which stands behind every single McLaren Sports Series model.
Of course, the 570S was the first model to be launched in the Sports Series range, focusing on even greater everyday usability and refinement that you find in its more powerful siblings. In terms of performance, it uses a 562 bhp 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which helps it get from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds. The top speed, a very impressive 328 km/h (204 mph).
As for the other special guest that’s to be on display, we’re talking about a McLaren F1 GTR chassis #05R by Cesar.
Chassis #05R is one of the famous five F1 GTRs that dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans back in 1995, featuring liveries created by French sculptor and artist Cesar Baldaccini.
“The Chantilly Arts & Elegance event attracts some of the most beautiful and iconic pieces of automotive art from around the world, and we are delighted to be returning for a second year,” said MSO Executive Director Paul Mackenzie. “The unique combination of arts, fashion and automotive culture is the perfect location to showcase McLaren Special Operations through the 570S Coupé, as well as celebrating the famous McLaren F1 GTR Art Car.”
