Even though Jaguar’s F-Pace will not reach showrooms before the first quarter of 2016, the Brits have not only released US pricing, but a configurator for us to play as well.
Pricing, excluding delivery and handling fees (*), starts from $40,990 for the base 20d AWD model with 180PS (177hp) 2.0-liter a four-pot diesel that can get to 60mph (96km/h) in 8.2 seconds before topping out at 129mph (208km/h).
The entry-level gasoline model is the 35t AWD with a 340PS (335hp) 3.0-liter supercharged V6, good for a 0-60mph sprint in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 155mph (250km/h) that can be yours for $42,990.
If you want more power, there are two choices, the S AWD from $56,700 and the limited-run First Edition with looks inspired by the C-X17 concept from $69,700, both fueled by a 380PS (375hp) 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that can push them to 60mph in 5.1 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 155mph.
The MSRPs for the 20d AWD and 35t AWD are competitive with the respective versions of the BMW X3, including the 180hp xDrive28d diesel at $42,100 and the 300hp xDrive35i at $46,350, not taking into consideration differences in equipment.
You can go ahead and visit Jaguar’s US market configurator here to create your own F-Pace and share your build(s) in the comments.
H/T to Taylor V and FPaceforum!
