The all-new MINI Clubman has undergone a complete rethink in its second generation, ditching its quriky asymmetrical door layout.
It should now appeal to families much more than before, as it’s also larger than the outgoing model – it could even rival BMW‘s own 2-Series Active Tourer if headroom and cargo space aren’t hugely important.
Even with the 293mm longer body overall, you still wouldn’t call the back seat spacious, but it should accommodate adults easily. The luggage compartment is still not massive by any standard, but at 360 liters it is comparable to that of, say, a 1-Series, to keep things within the BMW group.
We still haven’t had a good look at the new Clubman, other than in the official photos and videos, so the live shots posted below offer a more natural look at the car.
