It takes a serious JDM fan to recognize at first sight the Colt Galant GTO, Mitsubishi’s Celica rival during the seventies.
Taking styling cues from well-known American muscle cars, like the Mustang, Mitsubishi created the Colt Galant GTO which was offered only as a right-hand drive model.
Matt De Mangos imported one and after eight years of dedicated restoring, he is able to share his love on this rare Mitsubishi with Petrolicious.
“This car reflects me, my personality, being unconventional,” says the happy owner. “I mean, seriously, who imports one of these, and who spends eight years fixing one of these up? It’s not an exotic, there’s no cult following”.
