Renault has launched a limited-edition of its Clio supermini called “Iconic”. The French firm says the special Clio celebrates the successful first three years of the current-generation Clio’s career – the supermini has been France’s best-selling car ever since its launch in 2012.
Available in hatchback and estate form, the Renault Clio Iconic offers both personalization details and equipment upgrades.
Based on the Intens trim level, the Clio Iconic gets specific exterior features including gloss black B-pillar and lower rear light trims, as well as black diamond-effect 17-inch Drenalic alloy wheels and body-color side protective moldings. Four body colours are available: Ivoire, Etoilé Black, Cassiopée Grey and Platine Grey.
The limited-edition Clio also features specific personalization details such as roof and door mirror housing decals. The same motif can be found in the cabin, where it is visible on the air vents, door trims and carpet mats.
In terms of equipment, the Clio Iconic comes with heated front seats, leather upholstery, aluminum door sill guards and satin-finish chrome inserts. The model also gets a specific full-grain leather-trimmed steering wheel and a Zamac gear lever knob (only for manual versions), plus Medianav Evolution multimedia system and a reversing camera.
Customers can order the Renault Clio Iconic with two petrol engines (Energy TCe 90, TCe 120 EDC) and two diesel units (Energy dCi 90, dCi 90 EDC). Prices in France start from €19,500 ($21,825).
