Renault has launched the new Duster Oroch pickup in Brazil, where the model has a starting price of R$ 62,290 (approximately $15,210).

Derived from the Duster SUV, the Duster Oroch inaugurates a new pickup truck segment in Brazil. The model is offered with the same dual-fuel petrol/ethanol engines as the Duster SUV: a 1.6-liter with 110hp (115hp with ethanol) and a 2.0-liter with 143hp (148hp with ethanol). The smaller engine is offered with a five-speed manual transmission, while the 2.0-liter engine gets a six-speed manual. An automatic transmission will be available later.

The pickup only comes in a double cab configuration, with a bed that has a capacity of 683 liters (24.1 cu-ft). The bed is 1,175 mm wide and 1,350mm long.

The Duster Oroch is available in three versions: Expression 1.6 16V, Dynamique 1.6 16V and Dynamique 2.0 16V. The base grade offers dual airbags, ABS, power steering, air conditioning, 16-inch alloys, power windows, CD MP3 radio with four speakers and roof bars, among other things.

The Dynamique 1.6 16V and Dynamique 2.0 16V add the Media NAV Evolution infotainment system, fog lights, 16-inch Dark Gray alloys, cruise control, power mirrors, parking sensors, steering wheel with leather trim, trip computer and more.
