The Renault Captur is doing really well in terms of sales, but that doesn’t mean it can’t do better.
So far this year, the French carmaker sold more than 44,000 Capturs in its home market, gaining the No. 1 spot in the B-segment SUV market. In an attempt to further boost sales in France, Renault has launched a new limited-edition model called Captur Hypnotic.
It features an exclusive new Cappuccino Brown finish which forms the basis for a series of two-tone color schemes. While the standard version offers a two-tone Ivory finish and Cappuccino Brown roof, the car can also be ordered with a Cappuccino Brown roof combined with Cendré Beige, Cassiopé Grey or Étoilé Black, or with a Cappuccino Brown body colour and Étoilé Black roof.
Other exterior personalization options also include 17-inch Cappuccino/black diamond-effect alloy wheels and “Hypnotic” badging.
The cabin has been upgraded as well with styling tweaks such as two-tone smoke grey and black dashboard and door panels, smoke grey center armrest, splendor-tinted chrome interior trim details, as well as anodized smoke grey window switches and door handles. Interior touches also include premium front and rear carpet mats with embroidered Hypnotic badging and front sill guards.
The Captur Hypnotic can be ordered with optional mixed smoke grey leather and Alcantara upholstery, plus heated front seats. The limited-edition mode is also offered with the Techno Pack, which includes the R-Link Evolution multimedia system and a reversing camera.
It’s available with all engines in the range and is priced from €21,200 ($23,735) in France.
