The Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo has to be one of the most discreet world debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year, mostly because the Monte Carlo package was already available on the Rapid Spaceback.
There’s nothing surprising really with the Rapid Monte Carlo, which adopts similar exterior and interior upgrades to the Rapid Spaceback Monte Carlo. Arriving in dealerships in November with styling and equipment upgrades, the small sedan is the sixth model in the Monte Carlo range.
Exterior design tweaks include 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, black finish for the radiator grille frame, exterior mirror housings, front and rear spoilers, doorsills and rear diffuser, as well as a Monte Carlo badge on the B-pillars. The Rapid Monte Carlo also sports tinted rear side windows and back window, plus smoked taillights.
Inside, the model gets a leather three-spoke sports steering wheel, leather gearstick and handbrake, individual sports seats and other design elements. In terms of equipment, the Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo gets standard electrically adjustable and heated wing mirrors, xenon headlights and tinted fog lights.
