Chris Harris is inviting us to laugh at his first motorbike review, although there’s really nothing bad about it. Yes, he cheekily calls the people who will buy the new Ducati Scrambler bike “sad losers,” but the part about the riding is pretty honest.
Harris is a new biker, having only had his license for a few months, but since the new Scrambler is a fairly easy going bike, he says he feels right at home on it.
He compares it to his very own bike, a Monster, saying it’s not as sharp to respond as that one. However, it was not designed to as Scramber is a new sub brand of sorts for Ducati and this one is a bit of a crossover – it’s neither road nor enduro, but something in the middle.
It’s powered by an air-cooled 803cc twin-cylinder inline engine that puts out a respectable 75 hp and 68 Nm (50 lb-ft) of torque and it weighs 176 kg (388lb) dry.
