This Fox Body is so powerful that sent itself into the wall after a huge wheelie went bad.
Wheelies are a sign of massive, beastly power and a key ingredient of an awesome spectacle in the drag-racing world. Finding the balance between launching the car properly and the height of your take-off is a very tricky business but sometimes bad things just want to happen.
Jayce Andrade was racing his big block, nitrous Mustang Fox Body, appropriately named “The Yeti”, against a twin-turbo Dodge Viper when he came out of a big wheelie breaking his radiator which then sprayed coolant everywhere, causing the car to slide uncontrollably into the wall.
Luckily the driver walked away untouched, with the only victim of the incident to be his car. According to the driver, the engine has no damage and all he has to do now is to find another Fox Body shell to return back on the drag strip.
