If you thought the Cayenne was suitable for tuning, wait until you see the Macan.

Like its older, bigger counterpart, the Macan is one of the cars of choice when it comes to custom, tailor-made body-kits and engine re-maps. We don’t know why almost every renowned tuner has multiple offerings for the German car manufacturer’s models – especially for the SUVs – and sometimes, like in Hamann’s case, we really don’t care. Why? Because the end-result looks stunning.

And this particular Hamann-customized Porsche is the perfect example. Mind you, unlike the German tuner’s previous Macan builds, this one seems slightly more…domesticated and tranquilized (visual-wise), although it sports a full-on wide-body kit, which includes fender flares, a 2-piece front spoiler, side skirts, a rear spoiler, a rear apron and a stone protection film.

All this adds up to a total of €9,950 ($11,326), without the fitment – which will set you back €2,250 ($2,560) – and the €3,450 ($3,927) paint work.

But wait, there’s more! One of Hamman’s stunning wheels sets will leave a substantial hole in your pocket, especially the 22-inch Anniversary EVO rims mounted on this Macan. Granted, for €5,510 ($6,268) they come with adapter discs and 295/30 R22 tires, with RDK sensor system included.

That amount of aggressive add-ons need backing up from the Hamann-tuned 3.0-litre V6 diesel, which now boasts 310 PS (305 hp) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque to all four wheels. The €2,190 ($2,494) investment to achieve a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of 5.9 seconds (5.7 with sports chrono package) is worth it. Add a €3,250 ($3,700) active sound rear muffler with 4 tailpipe covers and you’re good to go.
