Aston Martin has put a great deal of effort into making the DB10 look like an actual production coupe, even if it’s nothing more than a movie prop on wheels.
As you already know, its chassis is based on that of the Vantage, while its 4.7-liter V8 engine is lifted straight from it. It’s the styling and design, both inside and out, that is of particular interest here.
Jay Leno asks all the right questions to learn as much as possible about the DB10, as he has Marek Reichman (CCO and design director for Aston) over to talk about the car. Reichman explains that while the DB10 is designed and built specifically for the 24th James Bond movie, it actually shows the brand’s future design direction.
This is true for both the bodywork and the interior, the latter being much more like the one in the One-77 than any car in the current lineup. However, it may look like a production car, but as Leno finds out, its side windows don’t go down at all…
