You know what car we rarely see tricked-out and modified? The Porsche Cayenne…
We’re just kidding, obviously, as the aftermarket business is swarming with various offerings for the German mid-size luxury SUV. From subtle appendages to full-on tuning packages – you can find almost everything, as every respectable tuner is coming up with a plethora of accessories for the successful model. Including Lumma…
Baptized the CLR 558 GT-R, Lumma’s latest offering isn’t a standalone, coachbuilt project, but a regular Cayenne bedizen with a lot of aftermarket parts. A lot! The German tuner specially constructed the package for the facelifted Cayenne, and although it integrates seemingly with the car’s overall design, it isn’t what you call…subtle.
In fact, it makes the massive 22-inch rims appear much smaller than they actually are, and all thanks to a beefy, lower front bumper, rear apron, and side skirts. Mind you, even if the visual upgrades seem rudimentary at first glance, they’re actually aerodynamically studied to reduce lift, while the big wheel arches add 40 mm to the front and rear width of the car – perfectly sheltering the 10.0J and 12.0J x 22-inch Lumma CLR Racing Sport wheels mounted wo the wide-body with Performance Spacers.
So, as you can tell, the Cayenne’s stance has been thoroughly modified, giving it a more grounded look. Not to mention that Lumma’s new design is perfect for whoever likes 458-stylied exhausts for their Porsche Cayenne – because the German tuner offers the possibility to choose a three central exhaust pipe layout, integrated in the rear diffuser, and they look…original.
