When faced with the prospect of crossing a wooden bridge, most drivers would have second thoughts.

Questions like “Is the bridge strong enough?” and “Will I make it to the other side” are the most frequent in those cases, even if the driver has a light passenger car.

But when a large loaded truck must be moved from one bank to the other of a river, a wobbly wooden bridge is a no-go in most cases. However, the case we’re presenting is special. It happened in Brazil, most likely in a remote area where the only way to cross a river was a run-down bridge made of wood.

After a superficial inspection, a group of men decide that crossing the bridge is a risk worth taking and the truck sets in motion. Everything went well halfway through the crossing, when the weight of the truck proved too big for the worn-out bridge.
