The VIZIV Future and Impreza 5-Door are the concept debuts Subaru is lining up for reveal at the Tokyo motor show. The former is an SUV / crossover embodying the firm’s “future vision” for a car built to encourage “enjoyment and peace of mind.”
Powertrain wise, it uses an improved version of the hybrid system found in the XV Hybrid, but with a new downsized direct-injected turbo engine. Symmetrical all wheel drive is, of course, present too.
In the Impreza 5-Door concept corner we have a design study that “takes its inspiration from the design of the next-generation Impreza.” It uses the company’s Dynamic & Solid design theme which will be more evident on this model than previous ones, according to the official information.
Subaru didn’t provide any photos for the Impreza 5-Door concept, but they did show it in rendering form. For the VIZIV Future concept, they do provide a more complete gallery.
