A select few cities around the world demand exotic cars and one of the best collections out there is in the hands of the Dubai police. The department has social media accounts used for marketing purposes and this is where the first info on a new addition to their vehicle fleet first popped up.
The model is a Porsche 918 Spyder and it will be used mainly in tourist locations just like its expensive brothers found in the hand of the law in the UAE. These include a Bugatti Veyron, a Lexus RC-F, a Brabus Widestar, a Lamborghini Aventador, a BMW i8 and others.
The hybrid hypercar doesn’t have the police lights on its roof, but it stands out immediately, thanks to its hot body and police livery.
Under its hood, you’ll find the same 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, backed up by a pair of electric motors, producing a total of 900 PS (887hp), allowing it to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.5sec, with the weight-reducing Weissach Package.
