Jeep and Mopar teamed up once again to bring three special models to this week’s Dubai motor show. The three cars are the Cherokee KrawLer, the Wrangler Sahara Sun Runner and the Wrangler Dark Side, though, the carmaker only released a single picture for the former.
The first one was also on display in Frankfurt, a couple of months back, and it is based on the Trailhawk. The KrawLer’s ride was raised and Mopar added its special suspension system. Other goodies include skid plates, rock rails, wider fenders and the BF Goodrich KM2 255/80 tires, wrapped around the 17-inch rims. The exterior uses a military-inspired matte-green color, matching the green interior with Pelle Frau. Under its hood, there’s a 3.2L V6 Pentastar with 272 HP (276 PS).
The Jeep Wrangler Sahara Sun Runner has several Mopar accessories added to it, such as a 4-inch suspension lift kit and the new bumpers. The matte yellow vehicle also adds the LED lights between the windscreen and the A-pillar, and uses the multi-spoke 17-inch wheels.
Last but not least, Jeep and Mopar brought the Wrangler Dark Side based on the Rubicon 2-door and with new off-road bumpers, half doors, lift kit, winch, light bar and 37-inch tires, plus a custom interior inside.
In related news, Jeep announced the Middle East debut of the Renegade. The small crossover on display in Dubai is the Trailhawk model and it has an Omaha Orange paint job, a black interior, “off-road equipment”, Active Drive Low all-wheel drive, Selec-Terrain with Rock mode and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
