New videos of the Ferrari F12tdf’s debut have surfaced online.
Ferrari took no less than three examples of its newest exotic ride to the Mugello track. Add two Formula 1 drivers to the equation and you’ve got something brilliant, especially if said pilots are Scuderia’s Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.
The front-engined V12 supercar is based on the F12 Berlinetta, but after undergoing a diet and obtaining new technology and extra power, it gave Ferrari a rival against the Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce.
It uses the same 6.3-liter V12 from the F12, FF and LaFerrari, but in this form the unit produces 780 PS (770 HP). That’s more than enough to allow it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds. Ferrari claims that it lapped the Fiorano in just 1:21.0 minutes, making it just a tad slower than the LaFerrari (1:19.7). The rear-wheel drive supercar will be produced in just 799 units.
