Ferrari knows how to promote its supercars and the launch film for the new F12tdf makes no exception.
The footage shows everything it should, starting with parts of the limited-edition model, filmed on a dark background, and going through fast driving on the track, high-revving and even drifting, all set apart from each other in a clever way.
Some would probably expect the twisty mountain roads above Maranello and the V12 echoing through the valleys to be included in the footage, like Ferrari did with the new 488 Spider, but they won’t feel shortchanged by the track, since the F12tdf does its thing just fine.
The updated V12 is rated at 780PS (770hp) and 689Nm (508lb-ft) of torque and it slashes the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time to 2.9 seconds, while 110 kg (213 pounds) have been shaved off the F12 Berlinetta, on which is based. The Ferrari F12tdf will be available in just 799 units.
