Ford UK’s Approved program will now extend beyond passenger cars to commercial vehicles, making it easy for customers to source quality pre-owned Ford vans and pickups.
Every single Ford Approved commercial vehicle undergoes a rigorous 160-point quality inspection, which includes service history while carrying a 12-month warranty to go with Ford’s Roadside Assistance program. Vans for example have to be owned by the dealer and be less than five years old and with less than 100,000 miles on board in order to qualify for ‘Approved’ status.
UK customers can search directly through Ford’s UK dealer network in order to find the exact model and specification they require. The cars are sold on a 14-day/500 mile exchange program that also comes with a seven-day drive-away insurance.
Ford of Britain managing director Andy Barratt noted that “Ford Approved offers commercial vehicle customers complete peace of mind. The Ford-backed scheme assures buyers that the vehicle they are purchasing is of suitable quality complete with warranty and roadside back-up.”
Looking at the most popular Ford Approved commercial vehicles you’ll find the Ranger pickup, small vans like the Fiesta Van, Transit Courier and Connect, and of course large panel vans such as the Transit Van and Transit Custom.
