Geely plans to become a more serious contender in the automotive industry by bringing more models into the market.
One of these is the Emgrand Concept that was shown in Shanghai earlier this year. Chinese media is reporting that a production version will hit the market in the near future and it might be followed shortly after by a second body a style, a sporty-looking station wagon.
These pictures you see here were shared on Chinese site ‘Shuoke’, but they’re not official; they’re photoshops (aka renders based on the sedan) made by a local artist named “Sugarchow“.
The actual study signed by Geely is said to use a hybrid system under its hood. However, in its final form, chances are it will get a 1.3-liter and a 1.5-liter unit, both four-cylinder petrol burners.
The concept is believed to debut at the 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show, later this month, but this has yet to be confirmed from official sources.
