It’s not what you’re thinking; Honda doesn’t intend to bring back its luxury-performance coupe, nor the VT250F motorcycle, but a reinvigorated variant of the Integra maxi-scooter.

Contrary to popular belief, the Integra name was first used by Honda on the VT250F bike, but the moniker migrated, over the years, into other products.

Anyway, Honda announced its intentions to premiere a new, revived version of its 745cc, (derived from a Honda Fit/Jazz), liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, inline 2-cylinder scooter-bike, at the EICMA 2015 (the Milan motorcycle show) beginning with Thursday, November 19.

Sporting the new concept of “Scooting Motorcycle”, fusing bike performance with scooter convenience, the new Integra will feature – among other things – LED headlights for a sharper front “face”, a dual clutch transmission (DCT) with new program settings, and newly equipped atypical cross-section mufflers for a more appealing exhaust note.

Mind you, Honda does say that various components have been revamped on the motorcycle/scooter hybrid, but we’ll just have to wait and see what the company is on about.
